The body of an Auckland man missing for several days has been found in a freshwater lake near Auckland's west coast.
Bethell's Beach resident Grant Faulkner, 50, disappeared while swimming in nearby Lake Wainamu on Sunday.
His body was discovered just before 1pm on Tuesday by police divers, about 20 metres from the shore.
The death has been referred to the coroner.
Police have thanked Bethell's residents and surf club members for their help during the search.
