The police have launched a homicide investigation after the death of a man in west Auckland.
They say the 29-year-old was taken to Waitakere Hospital with unexplained injuries on Tuesday night and later died.
They have cordoned off a property in Ranui and are carrying out a scene examination, as well as canvassing the suburb. A post-mortem was to be held.
