Police in Auckland have arrested a man after a series of drug-related incidents during which shots were fired.
They say there were four incidents involving a gun over the last two months, with one man being shot in the foot.
Armed Offenders Squad members raided two addresses in Manurewa on Monday morning, and arrested a man.
He is due to appear in Auckland District Court later in the day charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and commission of a crime while in possession of a firearm.
Police believe the shootings were related to the illicit drug business. They say further arrests are possible.
