Two people on a 10m launch have been rescued by the coastguard after a fire broke out on their boat in the Hauraki Gulf.
Emergency services were called out to an electrical fire on the launch just after 2.30pm on Thursday.
A Fire Service spokesperson says one of the boaties suffered minor smoke inhalation.
The fire was put out, and the coastguard took the pair back to land.
