Police are appealing for witnesses to the sexual assault of a woman at a BMX track in Te Awamatu on Boxing Day.
The 18-year-old was accosted near the intersection of Teasdale and Downes streets at 1am on Wednesday.
Police say a man pulled her along the street and forced her into the grounds of a BMX track and sexually assaulted.
They described the man as dark skinned and of medium build, and said he was carrying a shoulder bag with a flap and fastener clip at the front.
