Strong winds have caused delays and cancellations to flights coming into and departing Wellington.
A series of Air New Zealand flights were cancelled on Wednesday afternoon including a return flight to Blenheim, an outward flight to Palmerston North and arrivals from Timaru and Gisborne.
There's also been several delays to domestic flights, but all international flights are scheduled to depart or arrive on time.
Air New Zealand is advising all Wellington passengers flying to keep an eye on its website for delays or cancellations.
