Bail has been granted to a couple accused of neglecting their children.
Name suppression was continued for the 25-year-old man and woman, 22, when they reappeared in the Lower Hutt District Court on Thursday.
The couple were arrested a week ago after an investigation prompted by reports of disorder at the family home in Lower Hutt.
They are each facing four charges of neglect, relating to their children who are aged between seven months and four years.
After the parents' arrest, the children were placed in the care of Child, Youth and Family, along with two other children who were at the house.
The accused will reappear in court on 31 January.
