Police have arrested 53 people and seized more than 1,500 cannabis plants after a two-day crackdown in the western Bay of Plenty.
Those arrested face a variety of charges including possession, cultivation and supply of cannabis, possession of offensive weapons, firearms and explosives, and other drugs charges.
Police carried out 45 search warrants in the area.
