A student charged with wounding a teacher has been further remanded in custody following a brief appearance in the Auckland District Court.
Tae Won Chung, 17, of Korea, was charged after his Japanese teacher, Dave Warren, 49, was stabbed in the back while writing on a whiteboard in a classroom at Avondale College on 3 March.
The student was remanded without plea for a further two weeks. Electronically monitored bail will be sought at his next court appearance.
