Police have named the Christchurch woman who died after being struck by a train early on Saturday.
Sheena Louise Wright, who was 41, was hit by a train just north of the Hornby shopping complex at about 5am.
Police are continuing their investigation into the woman's death and have been speaking to her friends and associates.
They say they're focusing on her movements in the hours leading up to her death.
