A sawmill in Taranaki was severely damaged by fire overnight.
The Fire Service was called at 10.45pm on Tuesday to the Taranaki Sawmills site at Bell Block.
The building was well alight when they arrived. Eleven fire trucks took two hours to bring the blaze under control.
Fire trucks stayed at the site until 3am to monitor hotspots.
