Police have found the body of a boy in the Waikato River.
The boy was seen jumping off a cliff near the boat harbour by Unison Park, a popular location for swimmers, about 4pm on Thursday.
Police initiated a search and rescue operation after they received reports that he never resurfaced and the teenager was located half an hour later.
