A man sought after a police pursuit in Auckland has appeared in Wellington District Court.
Sheean Leroy Heta, 23, faces several charges including driving while disqualified, dangerous driving and failing to ascertain injury following a crash.
The charges arise from a police pursuit last week in which a policeman was seriously injured when the car hit him as he was laying road spikes.
Mr Heta has been remanded in custody to reappear in North Shore District Court on 7 April.
