Three people have been hospitalised and one person has been arrested after an assault in Auckland.
Police say the assault happened about 8.30pm on Saturday in the western suburb of Avondale.
Auckland Hospital said a 26-year old woman was admitted in a critical condition and on Sunday morning was stable.
Two others were hospitalised with non-life threatening injuries.
One person has been arrested.
