A software fault disrupted broadband service for Vodafone users in Wellington and parts of the South Island on Saturday afternoon.
A Vodafone spokesperson says the fault was detected about midday and engineers fixed it five hours later.
The fault was intermittent, causing the broadband connection to connect and disconnect.
