The Waitakere home of a government minister has been burgled.
Minister of Social Development and Employment Paula Bennett says a laptop, camera and several other easily accessible items were taken in the break-in last weekend.
Ms Bennett says no one was home at the time and no damage was done to the house.
She says there is no sensitive information on the laptop but is concerned at the invasion of her privacy.
Police are investigating.
