Christchurch police are appealing for sightings of a 29-year-old woman who was found with unexplained injuries in Addington on Friday.
The woman was last seen leaving the Dux Live bar on Lincoln Road about midnight and found intoxicated and distressed on Ferry Road about 2.30am.
Police say she had a number of injuries, including a large gash above her eye.
She is described as of slim build, about 167 cm tall, with medium length brown hair with red tips.
Police are trying to trace her movements from when she left the bar.
The incident comes a day after a violent attack on international cricketer Jesse Ryder near a bar in the suburb of Merivale about 12.30am on Thursday.
