Mediation to resume in Air NZ dispute

3:05 pm on 10 April 2009

Mediation resumes on Tuesday over a six-month dispute between the Air New Zealand and crew on the airline's subsidiary Zeal 320 Ltd.

Flight attendants employed by Zeal 320 Ltd want pay parity with staff employed by the parent company.

Despite calling off plans for a strike over Easter, cabin crews are continuing low level protests, including wearing wigs and stickers to draw attention to their campaign.

The mediation session due on Tuesday between Air New Zealand and the Engineering, Printing and Manufacturing Union will be the sixth such effort in three weeks.
