A private memorial for the chief executive of mobile company 2degrees and his wife has been held in Auckland.
Eric and Kathy Hertz were travelling from Auckland to Timaru when their twin engine Beechcraft Baron crashed into the sea on 30 March.
Navy divers recovered their bodies from the wreckage off the coast of Raglan at the weekend.
At the service, 2degrees director Bill Osbourne said Mr Hertz motivated an outstanding team of leaders and created a family culture at the company.
