An Auckland man charged with shooting his friend with an air rifle has been remanded on bail.
Zhivargo Williams, who is 18, has made another appearance in the Manukau District Court charged with the manslaughter of Shaun Townsley.
Mr Townsley, who was also 18, was shot dead in January this year while he and some friends were drinking and shooting at cans with an air rifle at his home in Manurewa.
The police say his death is the third air gun fatality they are aware of.
Mr Williams will remain on bail until 20 June.
