A Wairoa baby has died from head injuries, police say.
Raynar-Lee Soljar Thompson-Hatley, aged four months, died in Auckland's Starship Hospital on 19 April.
Police said on Monday provisional post-mortem results indicate that he died from head injuries, however the full post-mortem results would not be available for some time.
They say their investigation remains focused on establishing the events that led to the baby's initial hospitalisation at Wairoa in northern Hawke's Bay on 13 April.
