The number of schools affected by Novopay errors continues to drop, but nearly 400 staff did not receive the correct amount on the latest pay day.
The Minister Responsible for Novopay, Steven Joyce, on Tuesday released the latest update of complaints and error notifications for the school payroll system.
Of the most recent pay-day, 17 April, 39 staff were not paid at all, 142 were overpaid and 210 underpaid. Some 264 schools were affected.
Mr Joyce said this is one of the better performances since tracking began in February this year.
In early February 628 schools had payroll errors, there were 406 in March, while the pay in early April affected 386 schools.
