A defamation case involving long-time David Bain supporter Joe Karam will take place later this year.
David Bain was found not guilty at a retrial in 2009 of the murders of his family in Dunedin in 1994.
The legal action, filed by Mr Karam in 2010 at the Auckland High Court, relates to comments on several websites including the Justice for Robin Bain Facebook page.
The court says the case against Kent Parker and Victor Purkiss will take place before a judge on 14 October.
Meanwhile, a judicial review is to take place into the way Justice Minister Judith Collins handled Mr Bain's application for compensation.
