The cost of the recent flooding of council infrastructure in Nelson is expected to be more than $1.2 million.
Areas needing remedial work include roads, utilities and parks in Stoke, which bore the brunt of the deluge on 21 April.
Nelson City Council is doing detailed design work so repairs can begin.
