A man charged over an Armed Offenders callout in which an innocent man was shot and killed on a motorway appeared in the Auckland District Court on six more charges on Friday.
Stephen Hohepa McDonald, 50, is already charged with 29 offences in connection with the incident in which Halatau Naitoko, 17, was mistakenly shot by police.
He has been in custody since the incident on 23 January and was further remanded until 28 May.
Police say the new charges come after three months of technical, forensic and legal work. The total number he faces is now 35.
