The Commerce Commission has warned a Taranaki flooring company against attempting to fix prices.
The commission says Ansell Flooring tried to arrange with a competitor set prices for sanding and concrete polishing services in the region during December 2012 and January 2013.
Ansell Flooring's competitor complained about the behaviour, resulting in an investigation.
The commission's competition general manager, Kate Morrison, says attempts to fix prices in any industry is serious.
The company has received a formal warning.
