A man involved in the fatal shooting of a man in south-east Auckland has been jailed for 16 months.
Alex Mark Utu, 23, was shot outside his home at Flatbush in January and died of his injuries two weeks later.
Gareth Heron, 25, on Tuesday pleaded guilty at Manukau District Court to a charge of accessory after the fact to manslaughter after previously admitting unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Another man, Percy Fepuleai, is charged with manslaughter. His case is still going through the courts.
