Motorists driving over the Kaimai Ranges on Wednesday are advised to take extreme care, due to a diesel spill.
Police said a number of vehicles have already left the road, because of the spill which stretches from Soldiers Road on the Tauranga side, over the top of the ranges and down towards Matamata.
A clean-up is being carried out.
