Budget airline Jetstar is publishing full-page newspaper advertisements, apologising for recent problems on its flights, after a turbulent first month in the New Zealand market.
The Qantas subsidiary has had a series of complaints about late or rescheduled flights and a stringent check-in policy since launching its domestic service.
Chief executive Bruce Buchanan admits it has been a tough first month but says the company has introduced a range of measures to improve service.
Jetstar will also offer a $50 travel voucher to any customers whose domestic flights arrive more than one hour late.
