Police have completed the majority of their investigation into a fatal shooting on Thursday which left a man and a woman dead in suburban Rotorua.
The case has been referred to the coroner.
James Desmond Nothdurft, 38, and Priscilla Whaiti Nothdurft, 31, were found dead on Thursday outside a house in Mangakakahi, a twenty-two calibre rifle nearby.
The police say they are not looking for anyone else in relation to Mr and Mrs Nothdurft's deaths.
They also say no children were at the house at the time and no-one else was injured.
