A bomb scare closed Glenfield Mall on Auckland's North Shore for several hours on Friday afternoon.
The mall was evacuated just after 2pm, along with a nearby leisure centre, and reopened about four hours later. The scare followed another in the same area earlier in the day.
In connection with the incidents the police are seeking a man whom they say used a phonebox on Birkenhead Ave in Birkenhead, near a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant, at 7am.
They're interested in talking to anyone who may have seen this man.
