Carter back in All Blacks

It was only a matter of time: Dan Carter is back in the All Blacks for the rest of the Tri-Nations rugby series.

Carter has played a club game and two provincial matches for Canterbury since returning from an Achilles tendon injury he sustained while playing in France in January.

Coach Graham Henry says Carter is a key member of the squad and now's the right time to bring him back into the squad.

Carter will join the All Blacks in a one-day training session in Auckland on Wednesday. The side will assemble in Sydney on Sunday to prepare for a Bledisloe Cup Test against Australia next week.

Carter is also scheduled to play for Canterbury against Waikato on Friday night.
