A yellow powder being found around Auckland appears to be a sign of spring coming early - it's pollen.
Auckland Regional Council says it's had more than two dozen phone calls about the substance, which has been coating cars, roads and rivers.
Some people have been worried the pollen is some kind of pollutant.
The council says springtime is early this year due to warmer than usual weather.
