The Hamilton V8 supercar street race has obtained a long-term naming sponsor.
From next year, the third time the event is held there, the race will be sponsored by ITM, a chain of trade building supply merchants.
The company will have naming rights for the next three years, with the race being called the ITM-400.
Race director Steve Vuleta says securing a naming sponsor provides increased commercial credibility and that achieving sponsorship in the current economic climate speaks volumes for the stature of the event.
The race will be run in April next year.
