The Accident Compensation Corporation has announced it is considering a cut to the five teams that process weekly compensation requests.
ACC says it is looking at reducing the number of teams to four, affecting 17 staff based in the Hutt Valley, near Wellington.
This follows an announcement by ACC in June that 70 people were being made redundant.
