The Silver Ferns have lost again to a World Seven netball team.
In Rotorua on Wednesday night, the World Seven beat New Zealand 53-44, double the margin of the first game in Wellington when the score was 48-44.
The match was the second in a series of three games against a composite team before a five Test series against Australia.
The third game is in Auckland on Saturday.
New captain Casey Williams says a loss is always disappointing, but she believes her side was better this time.
