A new product that sprays a traceable non-toxic micromist on getaway thieves has been installed at BNZ branches in the Counties-Manukau area of Auckland.
The BNZ plans to install the product in all 181 of its branches.
The company that created the product, SelectaDNA, says each spray is made uniquely for each branch. It says it will be talking to other banks about installing the system.
There is also a home kit available.
