Top golfers are set to play the Kiwi Golf Challenge at Cape Kidnappers course in Hawke's Bay in November.
The inaugural event was held last year at Cape Kidnappers and the Kauri Cliffs course in Northland, both owned by American billionaire Julian Robertson.
Mr Robertson says the event, sanctioned by the US PGA, will feature probably the best group of players under the age of 30 ever to play in a 36-hole tournament to date.
Last year's winner Hunter Mahan, ranked 25th in the world, will be joined by runner-up Anthony Kim (20th), Sean O'Hair (15th) and Camilo Villegas (16th).
The event is to be televised by NBC in the United States and carries a purse of almost $NZ3 million.
