BP and Shell drop retail fuel prices

BP and Shell lowered their retail prices for petrol and diesel by four cents per litre on Saturday.

BP says the drop is due to the stronger New Zealand dollar and a fall in the international price of refined fuel.

Prices at most of their outlets are now $1.58.9 per litre for unleaded 91 octane and 99.9 cents per litre for diesel.
