Slow pace lamented over marking Maori rugby centenary

Rugby historian Malcolm Mulholland says little is being done to mark next year's centenary of Maori rugby.

Mr Mulholland, the author of Beneath the Maori Moon, says the window is closing for the New Zealand Rugby Football Union to line up the talent for a suitable celebrations.

He told Waatea News that Ireland and Wales are coming to New Zealand next year, but no arrangements have been made yet for matches with the Maori team.
