The funeral of West Auckland toddler Aisling Symes was being held on Friday morning.
The body of the two-year-old was found in a stormwater drain on Monday evening, a week after she went missing.
Pastor Russell Watts, who will lead the service at Ranui Baptist Church, says members of the public are welcome to attend.
He says the toddler's parents want to acknowledge the support they've been given by the local community.
Aisling Symes' death has been referred to the Coroner.
