The Government has agreed to a New Zealand Post proposal that there will be no mail delivery on the two Saturdays that fall over the Christmas/ New Year period.
No mail will be delivered on 26 December 2009 or 2 January 2010.
Communications Minister Steven Joyce says there was very little negative feedback in the public consultation on the matter.
