Oil companies raise fuel prices

BP, Mobil and Shell raised petrol prices by 5 cents a litre on Wednesday, citing increased international costs and a weakening New Zealand dollar for the increase.

At most BP, Mobil and Shell outlets, unleaded 91 is $1.65.9c a litre, while diesel has risen 4c a litre to $1.07.9.

Mobil unleaded 96 octane rose 5c cents to $1.71.9, while Shell's V-Power rose 5c to $1.72.9c per litre.
