The New Zealand men's hockey team has scored their second straight win at the World Cup qualifying tournament in Invercargill, beating Scotland 8-nil.

The Black Sticks led 3-nil at half time with teenage striker Nick Wilson scoring 4 goals in the second half.

That follows their 6-2 win over Wales in their opening match on Saturday.

The Black Sticks next match is against Malaysia on Tuesday.

The winner of the tournament qualifies for next February's World Cup in Delhi.
