Paperwork cut for LA-bound passengers

Some Air New Zealand passengers flying into Los Angeles will have one fewer form to fill out under a new border pilot scheme.

On selected flights from Thursday, travellers won't need to complete what's known as the I-94W arrival form on board the plane.

The form asks for the same information passengers have to enter online before they fly.

The Government says New Zealand will be the first country in the world to trial the new system, with no other airline taking part until next year.
