Flashing leads to bus crashing into police station

A 14-year-old boy has been charged after an incident that led to a bus crashing into a police station in Hamilton.

Police say a flasher exposed himself to a woman on a bus on Friday morning. She screamed and the driver responded by heading to the nearest police station.

The driver believed he had put his vehicle in neutral before activating the emergency door lock, but the bus was still in gear and it rolled into the entranceway of the station, police say.

No one was injured in the incident.

A 14-year-old boy had been charged with carrying out an indecent act.
