National MP Tau Henare has admitted to MPs and submitters during a parliamentary select committee that he's "broken the law heaps of times".
He made the comment during a committee hearing on the Government's ACC bill.
He was arguing with the Council for Trade Unions about whether ACC should compensate those hurt while committing crimes.
Mr Henare told those present that he breaks the law every day when he speeds down the motorway.
