A man has been charged with manslaughter following a shooting incident in Warkworth, north of Auckland.
The accused's partner was taken to a medical centre with gun shot wounds earlier this month, but was dead on arrival.
Her 21-year-old partner was initially charged with unlawfully possessing a firearm. On Monday, he was charged with manslaughter when he appeared in North Shore District Court.
