Police are investigating a complaint of a breach of suppression order, after a blogger identified a member of the Olympic team facing multiple charges of rape and violence.
The District Court in Auckland has banned the publication or broadcast of any information that may lead to the sportsman being identified.
The blog claims it's challenging the validity of the suppression, linking it to debate about how easily such orders are made in New Zealand.
It invites the viewer to come up with the accused's name by interpreting a series of images.
The blogger has now written about being interviewed by detectives.
Police in Auckland have confirmed they are looking into the matter.
