Police have named a pedestrian who died after being struck by a car near Blenheim.
Anna-Mateen Koura Jenkins, 33, was killed as she walked along State Highway 1 at Riverlands on Sunday night.
The incident occurred on an unlit straight stretch of road with a 100km/h speed limit.
Police are asking for anyone who saw a woman wearing dark-coloured clothing on the roadside about 5.45pm to contact them.
